A bit about them: 

Awarded Gourmet Traveller’s ‘Best New Talent’ of 2020, Alanna Sapwell is one of Australia’s most exciting chefs. Previously appointed Head Chef of Arc Dining, and Sydney’s Saint Peter, Sapwell is no stranger to the world of fine-dining, delivering spell-binding dishes, and exceeding expectations.

Deciding to become a chef at the mere age of six years old, Sapwell has always been destined for the world stage of cooking. Studying closely under Noosa-based chef, David Rayner at The River House, she has worked within iconic restaurants across the globe- Italy’s La Decima Musa, Japan’s Morino, and Australia’s own Maison De Provence.

Over years of experience, Sapwell has established her craft as one with a focus on ethically raised and sourced produce, whilst aiming to support Australia’s farming industry.

Due to the economic effects of COVID-19, Arc Dining has now permanently closed. Sapwell is now overseeing pop-up restaurant Esmay, based out of Noosa’s Wasabi Restaurant and Bar.
