Are you a passionate hospitality professional, know your way around a reservation system, highly experienced at organising functions and feel very comfortable with tech? Then this is for you. Working from home and during the day this may just be the lifestyle change you need!

Phone Bookings Service provides professional reservation management services and offsite functions coordination services to a range of Australian venues. We pride ourselves on professional communications, meticulous processes and delivering efficient solutions to our clients.

This is an exciting time to be part of our business as we are quickly growing our client base and expanding our service offering.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will provide telephone, email and other customer service support on behalf of our clients, including:

  • For our restaurant clients, managing/optimising reservations; and

  • Coordinating functions

AVAILABILITY

Our service hours are currently 10am-9pm AEST Thursday to Saturday and 10am-7pm on Sunday to Wednesday. This is a casual position with 22.5-38 hours per week currently available.

Shifts: Must be available Monday and some Saturday's and Sunday's (Does not need to be every weekend).

Must be available to work until 7pm on either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

Shifts vary from 10am-2pm/6pm/7pm. 11am-7pm. 12pm-4pm. 5pm-9pm.

Aside from the must haves listed above we are flexible and will work with you to create a roster that works for all.

The applicant can be located anywhere within Australia.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • MUST HAVE Adequate experience in functions/events management in the hospitality sector.

  • Sound restaurant experience, preferably including work in hatted venues.

  • Professional communications skills, including a great phone manner.

  • Proficiency with technology, including an aptitude for learning new platforms.

  • Managing reservations using an online system.
