A bit about them:

Moving up through the ranks of Tasmanian based cooking school and eatery, The Agrarian Kitchen, Ali Currey-Voumard went from student to Head Chef across a few impressive years.

At the age of 14, Currey-Voumard began cooking in local kitchens, moving on to further her passion under an apprenticeship. She began learning under mentor and owner of Agrarian Kitchen, Rodney Dunn, and soon after landed a role at Melbourne’s iconic Cumulus Inc. at the mere age of 17.

Across her numerous years of experience in some of the world’s finest establishments, Currey-Vourmard’s cooking has created a name of it’s own, recognised for her love of classic dishes, with a focus on sustainable and local produce.

In 2017 she returned back to The Agrarian Kitchen, serving as Head Chef until 2019, earning the title of Gourmet Traveller's 2019 Best New Talent.

Since leaving her role as Head Chef, she has gone on to work under Harry Lester at France’s, Le Saint Eutrope, taking up a Sous Chef position at Hobart’s Franklin, and guest cheffing at Adelaide Hills’, The Summertown Aristologist.

These days you can find Currey-Voumard running her own pop-up wine bar, Ooroo.
