MARCH - MONTHLY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TO DO LIST
THE CORONAVIRUS EFFECT - WHAT TO DO???
We are seeing the effects of the coronavirus in a lot of the venues we represent. Some more so than then others. It is of course more important than ever before to make sure you are not missing any calls and keep those wage costs down. If you would like to book in a 15 minute Discovery Session to discuss how we can help click here.
Also worth a look is a webinar running tomorrow by Restaurant Profits. This webinar is called “How to Keep Trading Despite The Corona Virus…”
On Tuesday 17th at 10.00am (NSW time) they are hosting a webinar to explain the 7 Simple Steps you must take to ensure you keep your business profitable despite the Corona Virus.

SOCIAL MEDIA:
WHAT SORT OF POSTS SHOULD BE GOING OUT ON SOCIAL MEDIA THIS MONTH;
Things are certainly changing rapidly with the Governments recommendations. But we have seen a number of venues send out emails and social posts around what their venues are actively doing to reduce the spread of coronavirus all whilst assuring their guests. You can see an example of this by Mattoes:
And our other recommendation is to keep posting as usual! Show your guests that your venue is still running and delivering delicious dishes. Giving people confidence they won’t be the only diners in the venue and that business is as usual is one of the best messages you can send out. That is ofcourse if/when the Government recommends otherwise!
EVENTS & DATES:
WHAT FOOD RELATED EVENTS DO YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THIS MONTH;
Obviously these are uncertain times for large events. But you could use this time to be more organised than ever with special occasions you can hold in-house.
Coming soon:
Easter 10th to 13th April
Ramadan 23rd April to 23rd May
Mothers Day 10th May
Queens Birthday 8th June
LARGE EVENTS THAT AFFECT YOUR CITY;
Fair to say this section is a tad redundant at the moment. With the large event affecting our city being coronavirus - it might be worth considering opening up more delivery options if this is not something you have previously focused on.

MARKETING TIP OF THE MONTH
Focus on your local clientele. If you always wanted to do a locals night but never did now is the time! If you are not part of the online delivery world you could offer locals a call up/pick up option.
